A delegation of 5 Members of Parliament travelled to Japan from 17-25 February 2018 as a part of a project to strengthen India- Japan bilateral relationship by promoting greater understanding and cooperation between policy makers, business leaders, media and academics. This project is (Mr. Vivek K Tankha, Mr. Bharatendra Singh, Mr. Prem Das Rai, Mr. Jayadev Galla, and Mr. Baijayant Panda) supported by . The delegation met , Minister for Foreign Affairs and , Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). They interacted with members of the DIET and visited the Toyota factory in Nagoya, besides several other high-level meetings.
