The 22nd edition of the India-Korea Strategic Dialogue, 1.5-track dialogue, co-convened by Ananta Centre, the Korean Foundation, and the Seoul Forum for International Affairs in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs was held in Seoul on 27-28 November. This dialogue is a platform for various influential figures from diverse sectors in Korea and India to facilitate discussions on mutual interests spanning politics, economy, and society, fostering forward-looking cooperative relationships.
The dialogue delved into vital topics like Indo-Pacific regional security, economic cooperation, defense-space, semiconductor collaboration, green hydrogen initiatives, and small modular reactor (SMR) industry and technology cooperation. Experts from industry, policy and academia in both countries engaged in profound discussions on bilateral and multilateral cooperation strategies.
A noteworthy addition this year was a business roundtable session. This session which provided a platform to explore opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation and improving supply chain resilience, ultimately fostering mutual benefits.
The dialogue concluded with a visit to Doosan Robotics, a leading manufacturer of collaborative robots (cobots), empowering individuals to achieve higher levels of efficiency and delivering immediate productivity gains for organizations.
