This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Japan. The cooperation and collaborations between both countries have gone beyond economic and political dimensions, as Asia’s two largest and oldest democracies aspire to transform their relationship into a strategic and global partnership. The shared commitment and a common vision for the future has strengthened this flourishing partnership to meet regional and global challenges, even during a global pandemic. This conference will highlight the key milestones of the close friendship both nations have shared with each other over the last 70 years and highlight ways through which we can enhance engagement in novel areas of cooperation to take this relationship to the next level.
