Pakistan has been going through multiple crises in politics, economy, and security. The greater the crisis in Pakistan, the more vivid the imagination gets. It is a reflection that the country is in the worst shape, adding to its growing geopolitical irrelevance. As part of the Ananta Conversation, on 14th September 2023, the Ananta Aspen Centre held a conversation on “Unraveling the Current State of Pakistan”.
To unpack this and shine a light on its future, Ambassador TCA Raghavan, Former High Commissioner to Pakistan, Mr. Tilak Devasher, Member of the National Security Advisory Board and Consultant, Vivekananda International Foundation, and Mr. Sushant Sareen, Senior Fellow at Observer Research Foundation discussed the current crisis Pakistan is grappling with. The discussion was rich in deliberating on the current economic, political, and security crisis in Pakistan and its larger implications.
