The India-Israel Forum was launched in 2008 as a high-level Track-II initiative by Ananta Aspen Centre in partnership with Tel Aviv University and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The dialogue is a closed-door gathering with a compact group of 30-36 high-level people from India and Israel by invitation only. The participants include eminent representatives of both governments, industry, think tanks and academia. The discussions are held under Chatham House Rules and focus on bilateral & regional issues; new regional groupings; economic & trade ties; academia & research, and future technologies.
