15th INDIA-ISRAEL FORUM

The India-Israel Forum was launched in 2008 as a high-level Track-II initiative by Ananta Aspen Centre in partnership with Tel Aviv University and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The dialogue is a closed-door gathering with a compact group of 30-36 high-level people from India and Israel by invitation only. 

The participants include eminent representatives of both governments, industry, think tanks and academia. 

The discussions are held under Chatham House Rules and focus on bilateral & regional issues; new regional groupings; economic & trade ties; academia & research, and future technologies.

14th India-Israel Forum

The 14th annual meeting of the India-Israel Forum was held virtually 8th & 9th December 2021. The Forum was co-convened by the Ananta Aspen Centre, Confederation of Indian Industry and Tel Aviv University. This edition of the Forum reflected on past efforts as well as recent developments to strengthen the bilateral relationship; and deliberated on measures to be taken to secure a sustainable future and bolster the relationship. 

Key government officials, stakeholders, academics, and experts from India and Israel discussed contemporary challenges and brainstormed to find innovative methods to deepen the bilateral relations.

13th INDIA-ISRAEL FORUM

The 13th annual meeting of the India-Israel Forum was held, virtually, on 22nd November 2020. The Forum was co-convened by the Ananta Aspen Centre, Confederation of Indian Industry and Tel Aviv University.

This 13th edition of the Forum, representing both continuity and change, reflected on past efforts to strengthen the bilateral relationship; and owing to the current challenges in the global environment, deliberated on measures to be taken to secure a sustainable future and bolster the relationship.

Key government officials, stakeholders, academics, and experts from India and Israel discussed contemporary challenges and brainstormed to find innovative methods to deepen the bilateral relations.

Key topics of discussion included Collaboration against COVID-19, AI & Health, and Quantum Computing; exploring future areas of cooperation in the Digital Health Care Sector; and also finding new areas of collaboration in agriculture, manufacturing, and flow of capital.

12th India-Israel Forum

The 12th annual meeting of the India-Israel Forum was held on 16th–17th December in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Forum reflected on past success, considered the contemporary challenges and discussed ways to jointly work together to deepen bilateral ties. 

The Forum has continued to grow over the years, and this year new ground was covered by focusing on four key areas – Water security, cross border investments, Artificial Intelligence and Quantum opportunities in both countries.

Key topics of discussion included scope for expanding economic relations; strengthening defense and security cooperation; promoting technology and innovation space; political and regional dynamics, water technology/issues
