Swati Sinha is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the Jindal School of International Affairs, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat. Her ongoing research focuses on the intersectional divide existing within Afghan society. She is also a Programme Executive at the Ananta Centre, New Delhi. Previously, she worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), New Delhi, and has also interned at the Indian Council of World Affairs and MMAJ Academy of International Studies, JMI. She completed her master’s degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, MAHE. Swati has published several articles on strategic platforms such as the South Asian Voices, The Diplomat, and South Asia Monitor. She also has a few book chapters, and journal papers to her accolades. Her broader research interests are Security Studies, Theories of International Relations, Peace and Conflict Resolution, and a particular interest in Afghanistan.
