ASEAN – India Leaders Fellowship

A unique values-based leadership programme was conceptualized by Ananta Aspen Centre in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of ASEAN India Partnership. The programme has served as a big step towards promoting ties among successful young leaders from the region and enhancing socio-cultural ties among India and ASEAN member states. The programme has participants from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and India.

SEMINAR 1: THE CHALLENGE OF LEADERSHIP: 2-6 OCTOBER 2018

The programme addresses the common concerns between ASEAN and India and aims to build a pipeline of values-based leaders who would serve as Ambassadors of their countries. These leaders would take on an individual or collective social venture or project on pressing social issues which runs as a thread across the region and make a substantive difference while building lifelong friendships.

SEMINAR 2: BUILDING YOUR OWN VISION OF A GOOD SOCIETY: 10-14 MARCH 2019

The leadership programme is a big step towards promoting people to people contact among already successful young leaders and enhancing socio-cultural ties among India and ASEAN member states. It is an opportunity for the young leaders to look beyond their individual spheres and collectively look at important issues that exist across the region and encourage them to address those to make a significant difference in the world.
