We were pleased to host a roundtable discussion with a distinguished Parliamentary Delegation from Japan, led by Mr Taro Kono, Director General of the International Affairs Bureau of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), in New Delhi on 21 September.
The discussion brought together parliamentarians from Japan and Indian stakeholders for an engaging exchange on India–Japan relations, shared strategic priorities, and opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
We were honoured to welcome Mr Taro Kono, Ms Karen Makishima, Mr Kenji Nakanishi, Mr Sakon Yamamoto, and Mr Kazuhiro Fujii, whose diverse political and professional experience enriched the conversation.
The roundtable provided a valuable platform for candid dialogue and for exploring new avenues of cooperation between India and Japan.
