In continuation of our endeavor to add value to society through participatory leadership, we have announced the Ananta Centre – Avantha International Fellowship 2015. This unique fellowship will continue as an innovation lab for knowledge sharing and capacity building for international students during summer 2015.
The selected fellows will be placed in Ananta Centre's New Delhi office over a period of two months in the timeframe of 15 June – 15 October, 2015 (dates are flexible to accommodate international university schedule) and exposed to India's policy landscape.
The fundamental aim is to foster prospective leaders and increase their responsiveness to national and international issues facing India. While the fellowship program gives the selected candidates an opportunity to learn about the social, political and economic issues facing the world's largest democracy, it also attempts to engage them in Ananta Centre's international programs and increase their responsiveness to the country's foreign policy needs. In addition to international exposure and leadership experience, the fellows will gain experience on these issues and learn from the best practices and expert minds in the field. They are also expected to write a detailed thematic paper on a priority area that is determined by the institute and actively supports Ananta Centre in their ongoing seminars, conferences and other related events, where applicable.
The fellowship includes a monthly stipend, accommodation and return economy class airfare.
